Storage Tanks
Cooling system is properly designed to have proper self-thermo siphon system, which helps to minimize the temperature gradient between winding and oil. The interior surface of the tank is cleaned by chemical/ shot or sand blasting and coated with oil resistant zinc chromate primer. Conservator, cable boxes, rollers, sealed / conventional type storage tank are provided as per the rating / requirement. All tanks are tested on pressure as well as under vacuum to ensure zero leakage & requisite amount of deflection. To meet the variation of pressure inside the tank, due to variation in temperature and short circuit current, the tanks are suitably stiffened.
